You may need to have the injectors serviced. Dirty injectors won't atomize the fuel correctly and will cause incomplete combustion. This could lead to high egt's and low turbo boost.
First check the tires with soapy water to make sure you don't have a hole that needs plugged. Always use new o rings and valve stem grommets. Silicone grease on the o ring never hurts either. Tire mounting snot (lube) works wonders for helping to mount the tires and helps seal the beads...
I have come to the conclusion trucklite leds are total junk and not worth the money. My led headlights are thankfully still functioning but when (not if) they fail I'm going hid.
I'm still not following what your getting at. Everything I have been saying is that they are fine with no inserts. 2 piece combat wheels are just fine with NOTHING inside of them but air. I would wager the o ring in the wheel halves or the grommets on the valve stems would fail before the...
No. The inside of the wheel is smooth all the way around. There may be a slight taper from centerline to the bead area but nothing is needed but air pressure to keep the bead seated. I also wouldn't really call them beadlock wheels. They just happen to make an internal beadlock.
They run just fine with no beadlocks or run flats. Maybe not on an mrap but a deuce will be fine. The deuce just isnt that heavy. The only time it could be a problem is if you really aired them down and were really running it hard offroad. Then you might roll a bead loose.
If there is something inside (runflat, etc.) it's worth removing just to see if anything changes. Yes you will need to take the 2 wheel halves apart and then remove the tire from the wheel. If it has a runflat they can be really fun to get out.
Then my bet is one or more has a beadlock or run flat that is throwing the balance out. Or possibly another object. Your best bet is to take one you know is causing the shake and break it down. That way you can see what's inside.
There's no doubt the lds in bone stock form is more potent than the ldt. But to say the lds isn't the same basic motor is ridiculous.
Is a sbc suddenly a different motor if you install a different cam and carburetor?
If you have access to a cheap lds and need to swap motors anyway then by...
Give this thread a read. I fail to see how an lds is such a superior engine.

Well I finally started the tear down on my truck. The rust damage on my cab is exactly what I figured it would be. Thankfully it isn't all that bad. Also, grinding off 12 layers of carc and rust is going to be awesome!!!!
Since I have the front end of my truck taken apart I was able to get some better pictures of the alternater and the pulley alignment and fan clearance.
Hmm I wonder what transmission you could squeeze behind that 8.3. I remember peashooter mentioning someone stabbing a fuller 6 speed behind a cat in an a3. He said it would cruise at 60 something with 14.5/20 tires!
