I wouldn't put a check valve between the compressor and tanks. The deuce compressor puts out dirty air and can gum up the valve. It wouldn't be pretty if it stuck closed.
O ok. Now I see. What I meant was instead of replacing the cable with a stronger one you go all the way and install a way heavier duty winch. Not a bad idea but I doubt most people would have gone that route.

I have no trouble on hills running 395s and a 3053 transmission. This is with stock fuel settings. Maybe with a heavy load this could turn into a problem but that's what split shifting is for.
