    PEASHOOTER's M109A3 CAMPER Build Thread

 I honestly do not even know where to begin. I am psyching myself up to do exactly what you have done but with an M820 (my avatar). The deposit has been placed with the seller and I am now trying to wait patiently for them to do their thing so I can pick it up and start my journey. I...

I have no clue where you might even start to look for those ( rustystud ? ) 2cents Old restoration trick, add the spin-ons but "hide" them somewhere convenient to get to and let the housing for the originals in place. Modern filtering with the old look. As for the injection pump, if in...

    Spare tire area ideas

Inspired by Rayzer's mini-crane on his trailer, ( still amazed ) I am thinking about standing the spare, in a cradle, off the back end (like his cycle is on his post). Imagine a Jeep swing-out but for a 395. The mini-crane to transit the spare between vehicle and ground. But then I don't...

Need electrical help with an M998 in NY!

98G, I would tend to agree. Then when the improving didn't work, they gave up and sold it without putting it back where it was. :shrugs:  Paincompliance, I suspect you are going to find out if your user name really fits ya. Start with the basics. 24v circuits eat 12v equipment. Have a...

Currently reading : http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?116775-GM-6-2-Liter-Diesel-Engine-Service-Manual-16015-05-1C Section 4 - Fuel system. Wouldn't know how there could be a better source of info, they built it. This is the same book we had in the shop. Between it and the wiring...

You are not alone. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?167411-Gen-2-issues GM built 'em. Blame them. :shrugs: J K , still reading and looking for an answer for ya. I do remember the fuel filter, heater, sensor assembly was good at causing problems but let's start with the basics.

    Hello from France

Welcome from Pennsylvania. I am envious. Beautiful machine. What gears did you choose for the differentials? 3.73 for mileage, or 4.56 to drive up the Alps ?

Converted Deuce VS 4x4 Shorty Bus

2cents For what you are describing, have you considered a 2 dr. HMMWV with a slide-in. Dunno how available they might be but in lieu of an M35 you get a more modern drivetrain, ABS, 4 wheel independent suspension, lower overall height . . . and it would just look B A.
