Contact Michael Vaiden and Black Dog Customs in Georgia. He will get you fixed up and walk you through the process and get you the right green label box.
His prices are very Competitive and if you plan on keeping your hmmwv his phone number is a really good one to have in your Rolodex. He has...
If you are getting a constant 24v to the GP’s they are toasty. Depending on what box you have they should only have 24v for a short period of time while the plugs are heating the holes. The oldest box gives you an afterglow for a little while after start.
Different start boxes work differently...
My guess is your box is toast. If it is toast your new glow plugs are now likely also toast.
What GP control box do you have and did you get the correct temp sensor for that box?
I would start by making sure you have current to the GP’s while the wait light is on. Also pull a few plugs and...
I have 200 ft of line between the set and the house so it’s not to bad. It’s a whole lot more generator than the 802.
I have it set up on a trailer with a camper panel (50 amp and 30 amp plugs) so it’s the mobile unit to help out around the community. The 802 is the backup so we can still have...
You over payed a little. You have at least one good title. Just slap a tag on it and have fun with it.
Download all the TM’s, read them and check your hub nuts before you take it down the road. Don’t trust that the department did any PM’s. Do all of them so that you have a good base to start...
I think I have it sorted out using your measurements. Somehow I got the drawings for an AN/MSQ-85. Apparently they are a tad smaller. Thank you for the assist.

Could someone with a 250 shelter get me the inside dimensions of the widest part of the shelter. I am looking for the inside width. I have gotten two conflicting drawings with the measurements. One of the widths will work for what I want it to and the other will not. I just need some...
I don’t want to re-open this can of worms but please do your research on that center seat. There is zero rollover protection for your passengers in that seat. If you are putting your kids in that seat you really need to look into a roll cage.

Just like any relationship you have to spend time with it to build trust.
As you go through the set and make repairs you will get to know how it works. This makes troubleshooting much easier in an emergency. At least as important get the set out and test it monthly. Run it under different...
My odometer only goes to 100,000 how would you know it went to 200k? My guess is your speedo is wrong. I have never seen a truck with more miles than mine at 78k.

I need a hand. Can someone confirm the inside (interior)front to back and side to side measurements of an S-250 for me. I just need the widest points not the lower area that’s inset for the fenders.
I have a couple of conflicting drawings and I want to know what the actual width is.
Thanks...
Wow. That is an astounding figure. That’s got to be tough on you guys.
It’s crazy people can’t understand there is no way to win against a train.

My 250 is going into an M-1101. Once I get the “body work” done fixing a couple of hole made by GI joe and his forklift and sealing all of the holes I don’t need that we’re made into the shelter I will drop it into the 1101 for good. My plan is to tig weld and bolt L brackets at each corner so...
Got it sprayed down and it looks good. Very happy with the final product. Even with the doors off it’s noticeably quieter. No more squeaks or rattles. It will be even better when I slap the doors back on.
I did have one setback. The rear passenger break caliper is now pouring brake fluid...
