Ok, I was offline yesterday and today, and I figured this thread would be dead by now. Enough excuses, here are the highly sought after loaded pics. It looks really bad, but it pulled great and the trailer brakes work just fine.

I never thought I'd try this, but there it is.
3/4 ton pickup, 16 foot car trailer, 80 miles, perfectly balanced, 55 mph all the way. Someone was watching over us, for sure.

Kwai finally got a chance to come up and check out his really blue M275 today after waiting for months trying to arrange transportation. We went over it a bit, and even though it still doesn't have working brakes he couldn't resist taking it for a spin around the lot.

That got me once, too. Luckily I broke the 3/4" ratchet instead of the truck. The bad thing is I knew anout the backwards lug nuts on older stuff from my Dad's old Studebaker bullet nose. I'm not right in the head...
Tires and fuel tank usually have to come off. Some places don't even like fluids left in the driveline.
But when scrap prices are up some people get really excited about what they think the truck is worth.

Chuck, the next time I go back it'll most likely be with Kip, so we'll both be there at the same time. If you look real close in the first pic you can see Kip's head. I'm sorry I forgot you needed the checkout, but this was a short notice thing.
