Ok I got a little more info on this unit. (finally) It's on an M116A1 3/4 ton trailer with 900-800 MS tires (civie?) and a data plate says it weighs 875 pounds. The tire size has me stumped... The genset is labeled MEP017A, delivered Oct 68. My search for genset info came up with a whole...

I understand u haul has two sizes of car trailers. The old style (orange) is the narrow one and the newer silver one is wide enough to work. That's the word on the street, anyway...

When my OD went out, I pulled the gears out of another transmission that lost 3rd and did some swapping with the tranny still in the truck. And it looks like you're pretty close to Haspin. Check out the thread about our rally there in June and be there or be square!

Hmm, I'm pretty well convinced that this is what I have coming. It's still hard to believe that someone could confuse M151 tires with what's on a deuce, though...

Here's a link to a thread about this trailer. If the pic is the same setup I have coming, it's nowhere near as heavy as I thought it would be. Looks like bobtail jeep wheels on this one. And the generator is still in place on "mine"...

I have a light tower/generator trailer in the Los Fresnos/Brownsville area that needs to get to Houston sometime in the next month. I have no pics, and I'm not even sure exactly what it is, but the current owner says it has "deuce sized" tires on it, and he pulled it around with a 3/4 ton pickup.

Here's a quick n' dirty way. You just have to figure out where to poke all the wires every time you use it. It's a flat 4 wire pigtail with some wierd pins crimped on that kinda fit the truck side of the plug. When I used it, i tried to let the plug's cover come back down on it gently. Keep in...
