Re: What is the best year of Duce to buy?
Aww man, another one from Lancaster?! What do they put in the water over there, anyway? Looks like the ole' buckeye is sloppin' over with MV's! We're gonna have to have us an old fashioned get-together pretty soon. Hopefully when the only ice...
That little '38 hit most of the trails with us and seemed to get back to camp without a speck of dirt. Kinda like one of those guys that can keep a white shirt clean on a pig farm...
It sure would be nice to have my '2A going by the next run, but it's gonna be a handfull. And I have to do...
I got the transfer case working now, so this time you guys won't have to wait so long on me! It is amazing what these things will do with a dead front axle.
RE: Deuce pick up
The more I see, the more I like. That truck's quite the looker. We'll have to get a handfull of us together one of these days soon.
If you get tired of that long-ish shifter, I have a few of the shorter ones laying around. One of 'em should clean up ok.
Just a note... When I gave my local Interstate dealer the 6TL part number he said there ain't no such animal. Apparently they changed it to U6TL. He had to call his distributor to figure that one out.
Good luck with that 6 hr drive. How long is that in deuce hours? ;)
I don't think the guy wants to part his two trucks out, but I might be able to wrangle something. I've been thinking of grabbing at least one of them for a while now.
Anyone have an idea what these axles are worth, assuming they're in decent shape?
Oh, they're XM211's.
That pass-side springer seat sure was nice. MV road trips are the only way to go!
And thank your pal again for letting us shack up at his place. Sure saved some headaches.
I seem to be getting into the truck storage business. If someone wants the whole thing, I can drag or drive it to my place to give you more time to pick it up. I'll be hauling a deuce tractor and an M726 to the mine for one of our friends in Texas this weekend. Plus the ole' M200.
