whats a 76k miles non-running truck worth ?
Don't know for sure but my guess would be night ops near a local boat launch area at the river. They have a thermal vision system in the service CUCV they are using.
Is there any difference between the D60s width on the Dually version other than the reverse wheel adapter?
(remove the adapter and would it be the same axle as the 1008?)
Is there any difference between the 14bolt on the dually width wise? Is it narrower to add duals on each side?
The detective I delt with said the engine ran but was rattling real bad.
I did not pull the heads yet...
There were only 2 tranny and the lower motor mount bolts holding it and nothing wiring wise so I thought for no more trouble than it is to pull plus give me a chance to inspect all the...
Been lurking a little while and made a few posts to other threads but thought it was time to start my own thread.
Purchased 1985 CUCV M1009 (Blazer) with 48K from my local Police Dept. They procured it from Ft Carson, CO so there is very little rust and it is in excellant condtion. They...
The previous years 73-at least 80 Civy Blazers seat did not slide and recline forward for rear passenger entry it actually hinged toward the windshield and the rear locked in the recess around that round stock.
The jack also stores under the seat but uses a bracket welded to floor with a slot...
It is not uncommon for the drive shaft to turn on Chevy 73-87 and 88-91 K5s and Subs w/ hubs unlocked. A 4 degree taper shim between the springs and axle will also help a little on 4 - 6" lifts.
In 1981 when the NP203 and NP205 began to be replaced with the NP208 most of the lift companies...
I can't see where raising a brick in the wind is going to hurt your gas mileage. These are not exactly aero dynamic to begin with. Your driving habits will effect the mileage more.
I've had several GM trucks with 33" all the way up to 40" tires. Pick an all terrain tread 10.50 -12.50 and not a...

I work for the Govt and we do have our problems, but please do not confuse GL with being govt - they are not, just another low bidder contractor ripping you, I and the govt off.
I can't quite make out the lock from the picture angle. Can you take an picture of the actual lock and one of the backside behind the panel.
Since they are open all you need is patience if you have the change key, I have a few from upgrading locks to X0-7 series so if I know the model I could...
It is a Fuel trailer with gas pwered pump. We had one in our MP in the early 80s until they installed an inground tank and pump for MOGAS
A1B is a fuel trailer.
Should have a canvas cover over the front to protect the little motor and such from the elements and yes it was towed by a duce.
I'm the keeper of batamt3c.com and just stumbled on your thread.
Congrats on the ACM find!
I'm about 99% sure you have a Bantam T3. Which is Grand Daddy to the T3-C Civilian Trailers.
If your planning a resto you should have combat rims like these...
Nobody has a S280 or equivilant to tow behind their duce or 5 ton?
I've spent many an afternoon installing or removing these at work.
Even installed about a dozen kits on the shelters that were not mobilizer capable.
Make a nice flat bed trailer platform too.
