    13G glow plugs

I tried to look up the Wellman "070" number on the NAPA web site, but didn't find anything. I crossed the original government part number and got a NAPA part number of AC13G. Can the Wellman part be ordered through NAPA, and if so, does anybody have the NAPA part number handy?

    Civilian equivalent model/year for M1009?

Thanks for the info, everybody! I went to Pep Boys this afternoon and wrote down everything from the shelf hanger book, bought some oil and filters, and got a set of belts by crossing the Gates numbers from the FAQ sticky. Then I wrote down a few numbers that I found on belts and hoses in a...

    Civilian equivalent model/year for M1009?

Your post on the K5 vs. K20 popped up while I was typing in my post that came up after it, so I hadn't seen it yet. Funny thing is, NAPA Online let me pick the TH400 for the K5 when I did a filter replacement job search. Do you know how the J-code and C-code engines differed? Would the air...

    Civilian equivalent model/year for M1009?

Thanks for the info! I'll write that down and start making a list of cross-ref parts. I guess that the shelf-hanger books won't help me at all with belts because of that wacky dual-voltage electrical system, but I'll bring along the Gates parts numbers from the FAQ and see if the counter guys...

    Civilian equivalent model/year for M1009?

I just looked on NAPA Online and found a diesel blazer. Does this model look right? 1984 >> Chevrolet Truck >> Blazer-K5 1/2 Ton 4WD >> 6.2 L 379 CID V8 Diesel Also, it has the TH400 transmission, right?

    Civilian equivalent model/year for M1009?

    Thanks! Hmm, I have a 1983 M1009, too... sounds like a chicken/egg problem! ;)

    Civilian equivalent model/year for M1009?

Is there an equivalent Chevrolet model and year that can be used to look up M1009 filters in the shelf-hanger books at the local auto parts store, when I don't have a list of part numbers or cross-ref numbers handy? Last time I was a Pep Boys, I tried looking up 1986 (the year of my favorite...

    who is bidding

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: who is bidding Everybody gets their turn as "Ha Ha the new dumb guy!". But it's all good; even the old timers who know it all don't know everything. ;)

Ouch! Safety glasses are a good idea, too! I'm glad the injury wasn't worse. Hmm, gonna use that for your new avatar picture? :grd:

    Accidental M35

Wow, I wish I had accidents like that! Well, I accidentally bought four CUCVs recently, but they aren't nearly as nice as your new deuce. Congratulations on getting a great truck at a bargain price!

Ow!! I can't even imagine what you had to go through! Don't worry, you didn't offend anybody here at all. Like Elwenil wrote above, we're just helping you stay out of trouble. Lots of folks don't realize why it's a problem to talk about future bids in too much detail until they get briefed on...

    who is bidding

RE: Re: RE: who is bidding I don't think that anybody here is mad at you at all, Allen. You're welcome here on the board, and we were just pointing out a board rule and a US law that lots of folks don't know about until they're told. I certainly didn't believe that you had any evil intentions...

    who is bidding

I hope you're joking about starting a bidding forum. If I'm not mistaken, bidding collusion is a felony in the US. That's why the moderators here have strict rules about anything that even kinda sorta looks like collusion.

Ah, I just noticed your other thread where you described winning two trucks. Congratulations!

    who is bidding

I tried to respond similarly, but it didn't show up. I might have clicked something wrong. Anyway, I believe that talking about who's going to bid on what, where and when is forbidden here because it gets too close to collusion. If you're going to bid, don't tell me... but good luck anyway, and...

GM/MVO HET during development w/ all wheel steering trlr

RE: Re: RE: GM/MVO HET during development w/ all wheel steer Hmm, 7 reverse speeds and 1 forward speed sounds more like a French truck to me. [Mark ducks to avoid flying rocks and rotten tomatoes]
