I like the alt idea pretty good the converter sounds nice but i can come up with a alt easier that a converter

i was trying to get by with out the alt but i think that will be my best way to go.

I installed a 12v winch on my deuce, it has a seperate 12v battery powering it right now. My question is can I run a power wire off one of the trucks 12v batterys and run it through a battery isolater the to the postive on the winch battery. then run a ground wire from the - of each batterys...

my winch came from harbor frieght it has 3/8 inch cable. I got this winch because i didnt like how the stock one stick so far out and i wont use it much. the only problem i have run into witch may not be a problem at all is makin sure i dont pull the front of the truck off or bent the bumper.

I dont know I dont have a egt gauge. I just keep reading about people hitting 15 psi and above.

the boost in my deuce has never even seen 10 psi at full throttle in fifth gear at 2500 rpm it only reaches about 7 psi and i have the fuel turned up two flats and it smokes like crazy. it is a d turbo by the way, in the other gears i get very lil boost , does this seem normal?

I run my deuce on usually 100% wmo and have been doin so for about nine months now I have had no problems other that the filters seem to clog a lil faster. so I run a little gas through it from time to time to clean it out. but put the wix filters in mine and noticed a dramatic loss in power. it...

I thought about the shocks too. at first it was just the right tire cuppin. it got so bad it wore the out side edge of the tire smooth. I replaced the right tire now both sides are doin it. I thought it was the toe in but it was only wearing the tire in spots.

my front tires keep cupping out real bad. I have to change one of them about every three months. I checked the toe in and it seems fine. I drive around 1000 miles a month. do the ndts just not hold up that good to the high way drivnin that well?

yea i cleaned them out and cleaned the pump it drove like a dream on the way home from work.:grin:

I pulled the pump out and the screens on the pump impeller were full something i didnt expect, leaves pecan i think. I think some one has done this to mess me up there was several hand fulls in the bottom of the tank. o and the shims and bottom of another pump.

I was stranded. I have noticed that it does it alot around half a tank. I do believe it is a air leak. Sorry I tried to change the title but dont know how. I will pull the pump out and go from there.
