yes it did Big Red it is way loud but i am installing turn outs in a few days I hope it will push the sound away. but if not i can always put the ear muffs back on.
did you have the fuel turned up any. I figured thats why mine leaked is i turned the fuel up and it was not tight enough. I have not turned the fuel down but i tightened it pretty tight too
mine also leaked, I cant remember what its for but some one told me to make sure it was not cracked. I just polished up the mating surface and put it back in and it stopped.
I was gonna do some thing like this to my deuce. I was gonna run four or five inch all the way back and run dual five inch tips out at a 45 behind the rear tires. Not really for noise reduction but i just thought it would look cool. but I put 6 inch stacks behind the cab. it is way louder, I am...
no it actually gave me more whistle. it is a d turbo. and the black and jack were just holding a piece a 5 inch pipe. I would never try to pick up and thing on a deuce with that jack or a block.
the truck was a 109a3 i took the box off and made a shop out of it. I have been lookin for a bed to put on it. i was gonna put my holmes 600 wrecker on it but choose not to. it is pretty loud but i am hopeing whem i put the turn outs on it wont be so loud in the cab. To me it sounds awesome. I...
I figured if they were big enough for some thing that has a engine twice the size as mine and makes three times as much power they should work well. the 5 inch stacks on my duramax works fine and it makes close to 500 horsepower.
here are some more pics of it almost ready. and one of what it did look like:jumpin: Its kinda real loud but has a nice deep sound im gonna put some turn outs on it.
I started my stack project today. I am fabing up 5 inch exhaust that runs into dual 6 inch stacks. It may be a lil much but all the pipe was givin to me so I wanna do some thing with it. Im not done yet but here is a few pics.:driver:
i usually drive my deuce every day to work (40 mile round trip), but i have been driving my civi hear lately because of a brokein window and all the leaks when it rains.
well i am a big fan of the 7.3 powerstroke, even more of a fan to the duramax. the 6.0 is a boat anchor. if a had a cummins instead a would probably use it but i have a 7.3 powerstroke in my f350 if the multi ever quits on me i will use the 7.3.
well its what i have and i also run it mainly on wmo so that would be a plus and i know these engines well. and the wiring is not so bad once you figure it out.
