I seen a hydro system in a MV magazine that some one installed on a m60 it used a rotory valve or something around the middle of the steering shaft right beside the fuel filters.
I was planning on using some parts off a a3 just to make it easier. I was planning on puttin the fluid tank behind the cab on the drivers side. I removed the spare tire so this wont be a problem. I would rather have a pto style pump I just need a Pto that will work with the truck.
What parts do I need to convert a m35a2 winch to be hydro like the m35a3. would the parts off a a3 work and if so where would I get them? I have a wow truck, but have the winch off of a m35a2 ww truck. rather that gettin up a drive shaft and pto and linkage I would just rather make it hydro.
Just as a update I got my transmission in today and I am loving being able to drive my truck around again. I had rough time with it but I got it in there. I had to get some stitches in my hand a couple of weeks ago because of a mishap at work but I had the out by last monday. well this past...
It is incorrect I just replaced the trans in my truck and was lookin at the zerk fitting and it only greases the shaft the is no way for the grease to get to the bearin.
I have also wondered about how they actually tow. I figured it would be similer to my holmes 600 with a big truck bar, but in all the pictures I seen I never saw one on a 5 tonwrecker. I just dont see how it could move somthing that was disabled and would not roll.
Im trying to get the transmission from Hooty481, Treessw you might can talk with him and figure out a plan for the pick up, Just let me know what we all can work out and any help will be awersome.
