I GOT THIS OFF OF DIESEL PLACE WEBSITE.
It is rather simple. Remove the valve cover, at #1 rocker stand one of the bolts will hold down a smal metal cover. Remove the bolt and cover. In between #1 & #2 rocker stand will be a small jam nut and screw on the rack bar. To increase rack travel...
I understand that porkysplace, But all im saying is all that keeps a m35 of any kind from doing that is power, brakes, and adressing a few other weak points. Add some of each it should do what any one wants it to.
I seen a m35a2 like than on here a while back can remember the thread right now but I dont think it would help turning it might make it worse. the tandems will probable try to push the front or you will wear the back tires out quick.
Yea I get this a lot with my deuce. I get older people telling me how they drove them when they were in the service and how they were unstopable. Then some usually ask me what kinda motor is in it. They say is it a cummins I say no a herculies. They go a what I never heard of that all the one we...
I got in my deuce today to move it under my shed to fix a busted hose. It is the one right behind the oil filters. When I went to move it I noticed the brake peddle went almost to the floor before it stopped. I got out and looked and it apears that I have a Busted wheel cylinder on the right...
If I can sell any of my stuff Im wanting this truck bad. I dont mind work. It does look like it needs a lot but I aint got any thing but time. It may end up if I get it a resto mod.
the allison is huge and heavy like 375# last I heard. Im guessing you are wanting a allison 1000 5 or 6 speed. But you can get a stand alone computer for it and stock it is designed to hold at the least 330 hp and 600 or so ft/lbs. You will need a big cooler for it.
I would check the fuel filters sounds like they are clogged up. I have been running 100% wmo in my deuce for over two years and have not had any problems. Every now and then in the winter I mix a little of diesel to help it start.
I pulled a trailer house across a field that had flat tires once with my deuce. It pulled it fine, it will move almost any thing at slow speeds but like stated before my 3500 chevy will out pull the deuce on the highway. I have hooks the same 34 foot gooseneck to both trucks if I wanted to move...
Just a update, Me and a dude I work with (mainly him) tried to fix the radiator. Long story short it cost $240 and I got a fixed radiator from the radiator shop. That will teach me to try to fix stuff like that on my own. But its in the truck no leaks and shes running fine.
If it where me I would try the 3053 tranny swap. If you had at least a little wrench know how then you should be able to do it. since the truck was designed to use that trans any way it so be fairly easy if you could come up with the parts.
I have been thinkin about making a camper trailer out of my m109 box. I want to use a dual axel trailer and have it lower to the ground. I want to be able to pull it behind my 1 ton and my deuce. what mil trailer would be a good choice to have? I want about 3 to 4 foot infront of the box for...
