    beefing up the hard top

Wouldn't painting the roof with black bedliner make it hotter inside?

    Rustproof your bed

If you thin the bedliner stuff per the instructions you can spray it from a paint gun with a larger bore nozzle. You can also mix colors into some of the liners. Years ago, I saw a brand that you could purchase in any color imaginable. I wish I could remember that company...

    Tubes required for super singles?

I don't know how much speed the 395's add, I was commenting on their rating. The 365's are rated to 55 mph, the 395's are 75 mph I believe.

EUC sent to Battle Creek - Event 5358

Awesome. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to go down when I get them transported up for me, or if I'll see them for the first time when they get to my house.

How are you getting what you bought home? What did you buy, anyways?

now those are sick! 395's look great! i was going to go 365's, but the additional speed rating of the 395's are to my liking :)

I think you're going to win

EUC sent to Battle Creek - Event 5358

So far the process has been pretty painless. My PayPal payment was declined for some reason, but one quick call to GovLiquidations customer service fixed that by providing the credit card # for the same bank account my PayPal is linked to. That same day, my payment cleared. I had to make one...

    Deuce Receiver Hitch - Demand??

After seeing the thread on the removable 2" square receiver hitch mount that rests on the frame and attaches to the pentle hitch, that is what I'm going to attempt to make. I think making and selling those would be more popular if you're looking to sell a hitch you designed. That should be...

    Brake Hoses

Don't flame me too much. I didn't search before tossing this question out there, but... Has anyone replaced the rubber hoses with metal tubing brake lines or even stainless braided brake lines? Both of them seem like they would outlast rubber hose in extreme environments.

    Earth Roamer or M109? I'll take a M109!!!

It is neat, and I'm sure you can cruise at higher speeds with it. I doubt it's anywhere near as capable off road as a deuce though.

    Auxiliary Lighting

Build some kind of "rollbar" behind your cab that bolts to the frame under the bed. It doesn't have to be structural, though it might be a good idea if you're into serious off-roading. You can put all kinds of lights up on that and still take it off for shows.

    driving with one rear axle

As mentioned, it was probably hit from the rear. Whether it was another vehicle or the driver backing into something...who knows.

    driving with one rear axle

I think he means that even if the axle is chained up, the spring is broken and won't allow towing.

    driving with one rear axle

I had thought of that. Or replacing the axle. Either way, I don't plan on keeping both deuces. It just depends on how much work I want to put into earning my money back.

    Outbid & Stiill Won Auction

I just won two deuces on accident. I bid low and didn't think I was gonna win at all. I had to explain to my wife that I didn't mean to win. She believes me so far :p

Eastover, SC. I posted in the transportation needs section.

    Eastover, SC to Maryland

I won two deuces from the latest GL auction in Eastover. One of them absolutely needs trailered (broken rear axle). The other may or may not be driveable. It looks like it's in nice shape from the pictures, but you know how that is. Both of them say "running condition unknown." I am roughly...

    driving with one rear axle

Good call. This is my first time GL buy, so I think I've got a little bit of time to figure out how I'm getting these trucks home. I'm crossing my fingers hoping the one is road worthy.

    driving with one rear axle

So I could remove the 4 rear tires, the drive lines, chain the axle up high, and tow it flat?
