Anyone know where to get the proper slave cable bracket or the part #? Mine never had one installed, and the parts manual shows it sometimes, sometimes not, but never a part number.

The 8.3 in stock to near stock form will be great. I'm not dogging it. And no, you don't want to turn a stock internal'd 8.3 in a pulling engine at 7000 rpms :P but I made a few cement trucks scoot. very impressed with the 8.3 :drool:

AWESOME find on the garbage truck! AWESOME price! The 8.3 can be bombed just as well as a 12 valve 5.9l. The aftermarket is not as strong, by any degree, but it can be bombed! The HP potential of the 8.3 is very very very high.

I haven't seen ANY PLGR's come up for sale since 2004-5. The PLGR is outdated. Even when fully keyed, it is NOT AS accurate as a mid range MODERN civilian unit. 5 vs 12 channel, waas, etc. You could load up a hop set oon some of those quasi-demilled radio's though. Just no internal encryption...

I am overseas mil. I had the cash through a wealthy relative. I would have probably sent them to canada and sold them off one by one. Maybe registered one in USAREUR, and used that, to register it in the states :P ;-) I don't know if this was for real or not even.
