Here is a link to some pictures of what I am bringing:

the red cross are NOS for the M1010
I have the actual antenna set as shown in the TM pictures.
I will be there at table 120 and 121. Not planning on pulling a trailer this year but will try to bring some good stuff. I also want a bunch of those medical chests.
Two of the main things I plan to bring are decontamination sets and radio instillation kits. The radio instal kits are $45, if...
It is well documented that the AC 13G plugs swell and can be a real pain to remove. The AC 13G is the original equipment plug that was used when these trucks were new and is what is probably in the TM. You can still buy them but don't, they are obsolete. Autozone has AC 60G plugs for $8.99...
I totally agree. The rule used to only apply to the major online auctions and had an exception for rare and unusual items. Now thanks to a few fanning the fire, it is everything.
I would like to go on record as never recommending the Wellman plugs. My original post was edited by one of the moderators. A couple of us went round and round about the best plug to use and I finally got tired of it and quit posting. I have used AC 60G in both modified and unmodified trucks...
I have seen one of these already put together at a Love's truck stop on the interstate. You pay more for lesser quality and flexibility, but some on here might have more money than time.

They got their bill passed. Search for Wisconsin DOT and you should find the thread. Short version is they asked for and got a bill allowing all HMVs to be registered as a special category of antique vehicle with the very limited use that comes with antique tags. That is the only way any ex...
NEW type glow plug relay - Michael's Photos
The bid red wire goes on one big post and the two big orange go on the other.
The small blue is on the top small post and the small pink is on the bottom.
I don't think it makes any difference if you get them backwards since the two small wire...
That seems like a strange place for the box to rust. I would think the rest would be much worse by the time the top got that bad. You might be better off swapping the box for a better one.
The STE/ICE manual is classified, therefore it cannot be downloaded from the usual places. The manuals were often left with the unit when they were surplussed though so a lot of them are out there.
That's the way it is suppose to be. I have read on here that sometimes the wrong wheel studs are pressed into the hubs and they can be backwards from what they should be or even mixed up on one hub.
I have been searching for some of the good old posts on this subject and I can't find them either. I did find one that cautioned about getting alternators tested at the parts store. They said that if its someone who doesn't know what he is doing that he can damage the alternator. I wouldn't...
That is what I usually do but that only loads the front battery, shouldn't effect the back one much.
Most of the auto parts stores can load test these alternators if they allow for the isolated ground if you want to get a second opinion.
There is a good write up in Military Vehicle Magazine...
This has been covered before many times, but I will summarize it again.
The gauge on the dash is just a ballpark guide and is little better than the idiot lights.
You need to get a digital voltmeter reading across each alternator. The TM recommends testing across the ground terminal and the...
I saw this in the eBay listing: "The enclosed pictures are of a sister unit here in Alaska." which tells me that the pictures are not of the actual unit up for sale.
sigo, do you live next to the actual unit for sale? If so, pictures of it would be highly entertaining for us and might help...
