Convert M817 PTO to air actuated?

I have five 817 parts trucks. Maybe the linkage would be faster and cheaper.

Convert M817 PTO to air actuated?

Does not the linkage behind the seat also control the PTO, up, down and hold for the hoist. Seems like it would be easer / cheaper to replace what you need. I did have a 817 with cable Chelsea PTO control and pump but the seat linkage was still hooked up to control the hoist. They made some kind...

    Making oil!

Make sure you check every day after you use the truck for oil dilution. The boost pump still might be a problem.

    Making oil!

Yea that is the overflow from the front side of the Head and the return fuel line to tank. The bypass only opens if there is a over pressure in the system.

    Making oil!

The secondary fuel filter has a T fitting and bypass valve in it and opens at 70 psi. It also has a line coming from the Head and a line going back to the tank. The final fuel filter has one line coming off goes to the Head if that is what you a talking about.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

sandcobra164/Joseph. Did you put a gage on and check rail pressures. I can bring my gage/hose with fittings to Ga. rally this year and we can check it if not. Just need to have the ball drilled out first. Glad you got it running good.

Has anyone tried to fit this pump in?

Is there any way the chemicals in stuff like Opti-lube /Diesel Clean could harm are old hoses? I add lots of that to my tank.

Has anyone tried to fit this pump in?

This should be a forum but sometimes seems like kindergarten. Seems like someone has taken my job of kicking the bees nest. If you want to talk about post/thanked do the math. Rusty 6996 post thanked 2095. Nemesis post 65 thanked 38 which is a higher percentage per post. Rustystud has added a...

M35 A2 In tank fuel pump came apart

If you can find all the parts myself I would just put it back together. There was a thread or a PM magazine article about how to pin the bottom plate from ever falling off again. I like the idea of the pump in the tank and don't know if a above tank pump would aerate the fuel more than the in tank.

Recommended dose of Diesel Kleen to fuel tank for 6.2

I switched to Optilube and started with double dose then per instructions per gallons added. Stuff is not cheap is the only reason for me.
