yeah thats right, it MUST be a three or four core though. A two core will not provide enough cooling capacity.
If you can find a aluminum two core radiator that would work as good if not better than the four core copper/brass.
there are rubber lines on the crossover just behind the cab (where the lines cross to the passenger side.) putting the pump there would be a good place.
the 208 does have a lower ratio in low range, other than that, you got me?
I wish my truck had came with the 205, but I will be swapping the one i have in the garage into the truck one of these years.
I would like to know why a change like this was not sent to every user on GL, this is a BIG deal to me. Considering I may have the card tied up for WEEKS with the rate EUC's are processed. If you want my money at the start, I expect Timely processing. I agree with the above poster, charge 25% up...
What brand and part# plugs are you using? The wellmans shouldnt swell that bad, I have seen the AC13's swell up really bad.
The resistor only drops the voltage to 12v, not 2.8v.
The glow plug IS a resistor, thats how they get hot, by creating a restriction in the path to ground for the current...
since your not the first one they are doing this to, I'd file a complaint with the better business buearu. Also call and tell them you are going to do a charge back unless they remedy the problem.
Mount the pump as close to the tank as you can (they push better than they pull) for wiring you can ground it to the frame, but run a wire from an ignition hot to power it.
RE: M35 variants, What
there is no A4.
try searching for M35a3 for the differences
the A2 is the "common" deuce that most guys purchase. It has the mutlifuel engine and a 5spd standard transmission.
They SUCK, best advise is to ditch the factory rubber lines (will get you a few years at best before leaking again) and switch to a hose barb fitting in the block and just cut the gm fitting off of the crossover tubes and either have a new fitting tig'd on or use a compression to hose barb...
fyi, look at the glow plug troubleshooting thread, you cant always tell a bad plug with the test light, measuring the resistance is the only good way to check.
