I think a seperate forum for the vin info wouldnt be a bad idea, either that or make you a mod so you can remove posts after they are answered.
I for one, wouldnt want the vin of my truck sitting in the open on the internet.
Welcome to the forum, please at least put the state in the location field. Its one of our few requirements. You can access it with the menu at the top of the screen, under "my account" then "forum profile".
you are talking about the "vacuum pump", just tell the parts store you need the vacuum pump from a 1084 K30 with the 6.2L
you will need to replace all the rubber hose that is attached to it (odds are that you have pin holes in the line).
The d44 and the 10bolt are basically identical, the d44 HD is a bit stronger but not much. to swap to 8lugs all you need to do is swap the hubs over (maybe backing plates).
welcome to the site, lots of guys in your area.
What date did you win it? and have you sent the EUC in yet? First time you should expect a month or so, after that you usually have two weeks to go get it.
NOT IN A CUCV, please check what truck is being talked about before posting. The 6.2L is NOT a multifuel. Some wmo in with DIESEL is ok, but ZERO GASOLINE.
Joe, FYI since you are "bringing things to sell" as far as a trooper is concerned you are a commercial vehicle. Now if you can pawn off the idea that you are "carrying spare parts" you'd be ok. Also read, Michael has a van and a trailer he'd be bringing not an MW.

RE: Just blew the rear in my
go on your local craigslist, finding a 10bolt rear will be easy. if your ring and pinion gears are still good you could even swap them over to the new carrier.
FYI, this is the reason they calll the locker in the 10bolt the "gov-bomb"
personnel heater? the cucv's have the stock chevy heater.
If you are talking about the "artic kit" its a completely different animal then the one for the deuce.
Don't even bother trying to fix those shafts you have. Either get shafts from a salvage yard or get new shafts cut.
The transfer case mount is where the force would be transferred to the frame, check the bushing but it should be fine.
As for the front springs, they where a flat spring (no arc)...
