I got a SOS employee to see my side of the story, and have it registered as a regular pickup.... but a very heavy pickup, 13,350 lbs. I don't think they necessarily know about the third axle I have on the road, but it's $148 a year for me, no restrictions - it's just a huge a$$ pickup to them. Matt

Good point - I only found my truck (1965, 110 hours, 9000 miles, winch, hardtop, military insulation, airshift, troop seats, D-turbo) for $5K only after I had given up all hope of ever finding a truck. Sometimes they find you! I would just echo liljohn's comment - unless you NEED the truck...

So I was finally able to upgrade the weak deuce horn to something more substantial and worthy of the deuce... It's about 3' long, and came off an old Kenworth. 1,000 thanks to Dave_P (SS Member) for helping me with the install of this. A video of the result can be found here...
