Do they hold it to the standards at the time it was made or to today's standards? What about emissions? Wasn't the multifuel given exemptions at least for the later years? Will we as collectors, be given the same exemption? What about clearance lights. Sounds like they have opened up a big...
There is that nasty C word again. Are you sure it means all trucks or just those used in commerce? Even if it is just those in commerce, you are still left with what is the definition of commerce? What about those with historic plates?
But my real question is can a deuce even hope to pass an...
It is a Model T ambulance on display at the Air Force Museum at Dayton, OH.
What did you do to the pics? When I first posted it the first one was smaller than the second one reflecting the difference in the old resolution and the new resolution. Now they are the same size.
If you want to read this post, go to the notice at the top of the page and go to the old site. Open any post. Replace the number at the end of the address in your browsers web address box at the top of the page with 20527 and hit enter. I use Firefox and it works for me.
I have pulled a M818 with a M109 and I agree with dm22630. You will not be able to maintain minimum legal speed on the interstate on any kind of uphill grade. If you are going to pay someone to fix it when you get it home, I would just pay someone to fix it where it is at. Or pay to have it...
I glanced at them the other day. Weren't they at a "buyer loads" site? Looked like they would be a bitch to get home. I would add that they aren't the first ones to sell there in the last few months assuming of coarse it isn't the same ones selling again.
Some of you may have noticed that a lot of the links in old posts don't work any more. While fixing my post in the CUCV FAQ I discovered the following workarounds. First I went to the old forum and went to the post. Clicking on the link there didn't work either, but I was able to find the...

The link I gave to NAPA online in the old thread is dead. I doubt that you bought two of them though, they were very expensive, two to three hundred each if I remember correctly.
The original pic is 3008x2000. I tried to change the extension and got the following message:

q2 There are two square holes top center of the black plastic dash. One is wait light and one is water in fuel. All cucvs and all diesel civi trucks have them. If you do no you have had a civi gas dash replacement. The wait light is controlled from the glow plug card and is on a timer. It...
You are under no obligation to keep up with demil a stuff so if it is already gone if it changes you just need to make note to yourself that you have already disposed of it. I would think there would be a way to fill out the EUC that reflects that it is already sold.
I have one item that...
