    Help, Needed Badly

Get the Manuals and read them. In my humble opinion they are the best in the mv world. Very good pictures and illustrations. If your missing a part or forgot where something goes they will show you. These engines where very simple in design and easy to work on. Parts are fairly easy to come buy...

M37 rear cross Member help urgent

I think you talking about the rear piece here at the end of the bed? The tailgate hinges bolt to it. The rear piece was being made by Jeep Panels Plus.

    M-37 vs M-37B1

Didn't the B1 series go to the packard style connector?

    What variant is this?

It might still have the dump mechanism, that alone should make it worth something. The spare tire holder is still there. you can see the rear pto drive shaft running next to the air tank. So it looks like the lift pump might still be there

    Front axle noise?...

I think those bolts are notorious for coming loose. The lever had nothing to do with it. Case inspection and rebuilt time or replacement.:(

    M37 Rear Axle

There is a bronze bushing and seal at the hub end that's fairly easy to replace. The hardest part is getting the old out. A slide hammer works great. Sid Beck or AB Linn should have the parts. Make sure the seal is not NOS, get new manufacture. If you don't have the manual try and find one, it...

    251 in the American M37

Other than drilling new front mounting holes and changing the radiator mounts, it will bolt up. Some flywheels were drilled for both size clutches. I think finding the canadian trans might be a problem.

    251 in the American M37

I believe the only difference is the front motor mounts moved foward, 10" clutch, and the radiator moved foward. There was no top sheet metal peice to cover the radiator top. And the different trans and pto. The hood is the same.
