Looks good Ray. Talking about Barbie colors I got this to throw in the back of the trailer so I don't have to walk to the showers at the Ga. rally. One rattle can of 383 and it might look ok.
She went through a Red River work order in 09 so I hope they did her right and tight. Funny thing it was three times cheaper than I thought is was going to sell for.
Got my dream truck from Govdeals this morning. Problem is it is in Brandon Or. so it looks like air flight out there and drive back. She is a 1992 M915A2. Happy Days.
The problem has been talked about since I joined SS. I don't remember who ( some of the older members ) that first talked about the varnish / trash but it can be a problem on the plunger/fuel control. Guess it's just the luck of the draw. I have had about 12 Deuces since 06 and some sat for...
I guess I need to check mine. I found the plug on the passenger side half way around the housing facing forward. How did you guys rotate the engine. I thought using the start inhibitor switch and just bumping it? Did anyone find the TQ. specs?
Yea I should have fix the plug. I took some duck tape and covered half the hub hole and filled it up and let it drain into the housing. Took forever. When I went to drill out the plug the bit stopped when it hit the magnet. I had a good centered drill hole so when the drill bit hit magnet I took...

Most of the time they don't have to deal with that outer grease seal. So I believe two tad's too loose and the outer grease seal will leak.
Remember the one we did for Chris's dad at the Ga. rally that was just done by a shop a week before. Before I took off the bearing nut I tighten the nut up...
Nothing to worry about and just keep on getting up Greg you and Will have lots to offer. I have to think things through three times before I type and sometimes I still don't get my thoughts right in print.
You guys are the mechanics I got away from trying to keep up with all the new stuff in...
Read this again and this is where I feel if Rusty would have said about the jakes that the newer models cut off the fuel. He said the exhaust brake does in the last line not the top line. I had to read the whole thread a couple of times and at first I thought we were just dealing with the motors...
[QUOTE=red; Disagreement was about fuel being shut off to the cylinders while the Jake brakes are active. Which is correct, fuel is not injected into the cylinders during Jake brake operation.
In the later model computer engines that can control the injectors maybe you should say to keep...
