glad you got it fixed. I painted my factory hubs when I painted the truck. Looked fine until I got stuck and the grit in the mud polished the aluminum again!
Pull apart the 208 and check it out, they are very simple and just do the teardown with the TM open and you will have no problems. Fix any bearings, forks, seals, chain that is broken.
I purchased a m101 tarp. While installing per the TM I noticed that the tarp does not have the straps to go around the bows in the inside of the trailer. With all the other ropes and straps tight the tarp fits nice. Should I try to sew on some straps or will I be fine?
I got the whole alternator rebuild kit ECH ARK101. Only part that worked was the white part that the plug plugs into. Nothing else in the kit worked.
I was rebuilding a stock alternator out of a 1008. Factory alt as far as i know.

I talked to my mechanic and he said that the pulley on my alt (ebay purchase) is the wrong size so the belt doesnt sit in the groove right. He said to tighten the **** out of it. So I did, no more noise!
What kind of setup is that? Weve been wanting to convert our stugIII to black powder. It is currently a gas gun and doesnt sound nearly as good as the black powder.
Pulled mine apart and found that the nut was still on the threads. I cut a peice of 3/4 pipe and welded it to the nut. Welded on a plate for a foot. Just like new but better because its welded not crimped!
Same problem here, Mine started squeeling constantly. I messed with tension with no avail. I pulled the plug on the alt and it instantly stopped squeeling. When i plug back in it starts up again. Im guessing that something inside is squeeling when the alt is energized. I guess its time for a...
