As for the 10K rating... they don't intend for you to be pulling the deuce up the side of a building... or lowering a deuce backwards off a plateau (Monkey Wrench Gang)...

Don't press the "back" button to get back to the forum. If you click a link to get back to the listing of threads, it should register that you have read that thread. If it still is orange after you "read" all the individual posts, click the "Mark all topics read" at the top of the screen that...
Bjorn-
Flipping the stock bolts would require drilling square holes in the frame for the carriage bolts. I am guessing the replacement grade 8 bolts will have hex heads to avoid that issue.

The weight rewuirement for a CDL is based on how much it COULD weigh fully loaded. That's why my 23,350 lb deuce is perfect (empty plus 5 tons on-road) and below the 26 K limit. Ugg pointed out the issue that has been discussed before - some states require (foolishly) a CDL based on weight...

Maybe an idea is a "Vendor Feedback"...

If we weren't so close to getting the boat, I would love to join you guys. As it is, the deuce is already over in Cheboygan, MI. It's buttoned up (batteries out, fuel preservative in, intake and exhaust sealed, etc.) so it can sit and wait for our arrival. Perhaps next year?!

Mike...

We all appreciate the hard work, Mike!
