I really like the dome light idea.
All I have added is a cup holder . It does help when you are trying to get back on the road and have to turn and shift at the same time.
Just a quick update.
The engines sold for about $50 each at the auction today. I didn't buy them as I couldn't justify spending money on two engines I don't need. I hope I don't regret not picking them up in the future.
I did pick up some gas cans that will look nice on my running board. :-D
I think having a some sort of bracket so you lock your transfer case in neutral would be good. Especially if you plan on leaving the engine run while in a store or during cold periods during the winter. It would keep some one from putting it into gear and driving around in the parking lot by...
Did the govt use a different method for determining HP? The specs from Saturn's website say it has 6 hp & 3,600 rpm. That seems a bit low for a 4 cylinder motor.
With my cat-like reflexes, I was able to catch the link and look at the pictures.
My deuce has 56k on the mileage and over 1500 hours (but the hour gauge stopped working). What I have read is that mileage and hours on the gauges are crap shoot because it was too easy to swap them or put in a...
There is an auction near my house this weekend and I was previewing some stuff and noticed these two engines. They are gas but I didn't get the NSN off of them.
Does anybody know what they are from and if they are worth bidding on?
Thanks
If you keep talking about this you may end up with quite a long convoy following you:-D. If money isn't an issue you could consider one of m-35tom's overdrive upgrade kits (if they are ready). I don't know if you save a ton of fuel but your engine wouldn't have to be revved to high if you...
Eric,
I am a little slow so please bear (or is it bare) with me.
I understand that you have positive pressure to get the oil from your primary tank to your final tank. Are you just using gravity to put the oil through the filter bags or is there the pressure from the primary tank?
Where do...
I had an ah-ha moment last night while trying to get to sleep. What if instead of a hydraulic pump or re-purposed power steering pump to push WMO through filters, why couldn't I fill a pressurized sandblaster with WMO and then use air pressure to send it through a series of filters.
I would...
I recently went up to Camp Ripley, MN to recover a M105 I won on GL and I was going to figure out my gas(fuel) mileage (7 to 9 MPG) and the fuel consumption per hour. At my first fuel stop I noticed that the hour gauge hadn't moved even though the tach works fine.
Any suggestions on how to fix...
I too misread your poll question. I voted for the C as I have a C and I like it. However, I have heard that some C's will scream more than others. Mine isn't very obnoxious and I think it sounds cooler.
I won an M105 on 7/9/09

Today (8/5/09) I received a letter via USPS dated 8/3/09 from the DLA Accountability office stating that since I purchased something I have to abide by all the applicable laws.
Does this mean...
I bid and won a M105 and figured I could pull it back up empty with my Chev 1/2 ton. I was going to use it for firewood and pull it around full with my tractor. I ended up buying a deuce private party to pull it around.
Talk about putting the cart before the horse or the M105 before the M35...
