Just for chuckles there should be a little valve to shut the air assist off on the firewall. It would be worth closing it and trying the truck just to see if there is a leak internally in the steering. They can actually be very quiet inside the big cylinder.
I drain my tanks, but the air dryer is great- I have never had any water come out. I really love that unit. It has a filter to catch oil and dirt also. I replaced the filter as one of the first items of maintenance.

My state requires a certificate of insurance before they will tag it. Strange GA would give you a tag without insurance on it. Different states... :driver:
Folks have installed them inside the cab on the back corners.
If it were me, I would not install the heater in the engine bay, instead pick an in-cab heater. That think is always in the way!
