That looks like the original wiring for the glow plugs that has been bypassed with the manual switch. He must have run new wires for the push button. here are some pics of one of my trucks.

I am pretty sure none of the CUCVs came with a block heater. None of mine have one. All civi 6.2s have one as far as I know. you shouldn't need it unless it is getting down into the teens or colder.
This is why I asked this question. I knew there would be someone who would object, the question is how many? Would it make any difference if I can get a regular title with the bill of sale without the SF 97?
I found this in the pdf listed above. Sounds like I don't need either one, but they have never done it for me before.
After thinking about this for a few minutes, to be strictly by the book wouldn't GL be suppose to title the truck and then transfer their title to me?
Who is liable if you use a form 97? Reminds me of the museum that bought the F16 from the scrap dealer. i never did hear what came of that, but it was looking like the museum was going to loose a lot of money and it wasn't going to cost the scrap dealer anything. I was thinking that the title...
I have two choices on titling my new truck. I can go to my insurance agent and get a title bond for $100 on the spot and go across the street to the court house and get a bonded title all in one day with very little trouble. Or I can do it with a form 97 the GL way.
I have done two salvage...
I found these in my new M35 I just got back from Lavina. There were 2 of the small black things in the glove box and the big green thing in the floor. Several of the trucks next to mine had one of the big green things new in the box.
Could the green thing be a wheel chock? It had a wooden...
You would never get an inspection sticker in Mississippi with that limo tint. All of the people who do inspections had to buy a meter to actually test how much light will go through them. Factory tint is exempt so a lot of vehicles will fail with after market tint that is lighter than the same...
RE: GAA
Try this link from otrman post. It took me about 10 min to find it so I will save the rest of you the trouble.

I was wondering if anyone had picked up any of the Smyrna,TN trucks. How did it go? The TN national guard hasn't done anything stupid like drain all of the fluids or anything have they? I have an appt to pick up my trailers and truck at Lavinia, TN next Thursday.
I bought some LED Christmas lights on clearance last year and planned to hook them up to a power inverter. Most Christmas lights are low voltage bulbs wired in series to run on 110 volts. You could cut them up into strings of 10 to 20 and rewire them to be in parallel and run them straight...
Here is what I did. I put a push button starter switch in a box I had and used spade terminals on the ends of the wires. I removed the GP card and pushed the spade terminal into the exposed plug. I did it this way so I could go back to the card if I wanted to.
You could also use crimp on...
The pos wire of one jumper cable will be connected to the neg wire of the other jumper cable by way of the wire that connects the two batteries together in the duce. You will then have a dead short to ground on one of your pickup batteries.
You do not want 13G glow plugs in your truck. They are what they came out with in 1985 and are obsolete. They will swell when they go bad. They will also burn out rather quickly if they are left on too long. I would use AC60G but some people prefer others.
If the rust is cut out and replaced with new metal, and with the other mods, I think it is a good deal if it is what you want. The axles with disk brakes all around is worth $1500 to $2000 mounted and working. But, if the rust repair is just bondo and paint, that is a different story.
