I would say that they are worth less, but not by much. A significant percentage of those sold at GL have the box removed and a flat bed put on them. On the plus side, they don't seem to see as much use.
Litter is a synonym for streatcher. The military ususally uses litter in regard to ambulances as in the HMMWV 4-Litter Ambulance M997. I would love to see more pictures of how your litter racks work. I am most interested in the clamp as I may have some of them and didn't know it.
I like it the way it is, but then I like ambulances. My M1010 is my nicest MV. Does this one have litter racks? I was noticing a little silver locking thing in picture 028-2 on the right mounted over the window. I have a box full of something that looks like that but with the downsized...
I don't know the answer to your original question. I guess it all depends on how far you live from the shop, how bad the traffic is and how bad it sounds, but you have got to get it out of that man's shop. He thinks way too much of his time. It will cost more than it is worth to get it fixed...
I am beginning to wonder if the demand for M135/211 parts is so low that the supply has been trashed or scrapped. I haven't seen much for them lately. I would pick up a copy of MV magazine and start calling the dealers advertising in it to see what they have if the above doesn't work out.
You...
Welcome to the site. You have many questions, most of which have been answered many times before. The charging and the glow plugs are the two main trouble areas of these trucks. I would recommend reading back through the CUCV threads and get the manuals off of the site.
CUCV's do have a...
I am afraid that the government's solution to GL is going to be to stop selling to the public. I am afraid they are going to sell to a few big companies and let them export all of the stuff they don't bury in a big hole somewhere.
The guy was suppose to call me Fri to set up a time over the weekend to look at the axles, but I didn't hear from him. He may be looking elsewhere. I will be sure to pass on the prices if he does call back.
Thanks for all of the input.
I really wasn't wanting to be bothered with selling them, but I hated to blow him off for no reason. It does sound like it isn't what he is looking for unless I drop my price and he is wanting to get by on the cheep. I priced them for $300 each. It sounds like that is a little high. I would...
I guess I might as well ask if anybody has the axles he wants or a M35 parts truck for sale within a reasonable distance of Tupelo, MS? The closest place I can think of is Tracy City, TN
I was approached today by someone wanting deuce axles for a 4x4 project he was working on. I told him I didn't have any M35 axles but did have a M135 that I might part with. He didn't have a clue to what I was talking about but still wants to come look at them. Anybody have any thoughts on...
