Anybody going to the Little Rock convention (or in NE Mississippi ) have a tailgate or seats for a M1009 for sale?
Or am I the only one on the list going to the convention?
You used to could buy that hitch from WalMart for not much more than $10. Maybe someone got one on clearance or bought it and didn't use it. Currently this hitch has a retail price of $51.00 and usually sales for $35.00.
RE: gen set
It looks like your manual might be online soon. There is suppose to be a new air force library set up in "early June".

Getting back to the original post, that is an interesting MV. I can't seem to find one exactly like it. This has a similar rear end but it isn't the same truck.

That sounds like bs to me. As I understand it demil status is based on NSN number. I would bet that this trailer was modified in some way and given a new NSN number. Even if the modification was removed, if it is still listed by that NSN number it would still show as a demil B/Q. I bought a S250...
RE: Small board not a glow plug board?
I think that new cards come with new wiring harness also. At least I think I have seen that on ebay, but I could be wrong, I wasn't paying to much attention. Looks like a good candidate for a manual switch. I seem to also remember those new cards going...
It may be more of a change in time than a change in place in regard to the number of tickets being written. The local law around here in rural Mississippi are pulling people over left and right for tag lights and anything else they can think of. Some get warnings some get tickets I guess...
While thinking about your problem, it occurred to me that there are several things to keep in mind when troubleshooting a problem on a truck fresh from DRMO.
Parts may be missing. Apparently it is easier to get a light bulb or fuse from a deadlined MV than it is to requisition a new one.

You need to print page 275 of this TM:

Appendix F has the circuit diagrams. If none of the lights work then it would have to be 4 fuses blown (or missing). If none of the above has fixed anything, I...
I still haven't done anything with my M1009. I bought a bracket at Redneck trailer supply like on the bottom of page 8:

I like the looks of the one pictured abouve. Were did you find it OJSDNA?
Here is what I did with my M1010. It uses a standard Peterson taillight which you can buy at walmart. It is easy to find a bracket which will mount under the light. I have bent it twice while backing up.
