The glow plugs should be under $10 each. I just bought two sets.

I’ve bought from both companies and they are the real thing, $100 or less shipped.
Go to kascar, or Mac motors. Do not buy from eBay, and the head should be 3/8 hex, NOT 10mm, if you get 10mm it’s counterfeit and WILL fail and be really difficult to remove.
I've used Kerosene as a parts cleaner before on diesel engine componets in the past. It's generally compatible with diesel. (I don't know if any agrees this is a good or bad idea on the HMMWV.)
HMMWV so a bit different, but back 24 years ago my kid ( 2 at the time ) crawled into an Army HMMWV and started it. That reserve unit learned really quickly to unhook the battery when showing a HMMWV where someone can reach the start switch!
in my more modern case, I tend to put wheel chalks...
Previous owner of my HMMWV bought them, but they are the O'Reilly 6TL batteries. I asked them about getting a pair, and they said they were just special order and would take a few days to a week to get them in, but they were available. Price wasn't unreasonable, but the Hawker are much better...
I THINK so. My memory was a white bottle, but I used it and threw it away so I can't say for sure.
I know it was Valvoline, listed as DEX/MERC and had ATF on the label along with DEX III..
(I had to drain/refill my power steering.)
Sounds to me like the pump died, you ran out of hydraulic fluid or something similar. Fix the 'fluid'/pump issue first, then work on the cadillac valve/hydraulic fan, brake booster, and then power steering box.. (at least that is the order I would do it)
If the pump has fluid in it, you can...
As far as I can tell, expect to go through a key switch regularly if you have one. The 24V and current seem to like to fry/weld the insides of the cheap switches that seem to be available online and at auto-parts stores.
(I've got one, but I'm already making plans to move back to a real...
Hmm, I always thought that was "test fire extinguisher now" light. As it usually happens when you forget the fire extinguisher, or haven't verified it's full in a while.
Is there a part number for the moog and where can you get it? Was googling for it and found an old post that it was an AMGN part only, so was difficult to get. I'm assuming this has improved?
This is a good reminder on ITAR. Not only does the finished goods have to stay in the US, but so do the design files and anything related to how to make it. Also even giving it to someone who is not a US Citizen can be an ITAR violation, so definitely worth considering when remanufacturing...
You may have power intermittently until the engine is up to temp. But ya, a constant 24V to the plugs is "bad".
The EESS boxes are interchangable, but you may need to change the temp sensor. (This is near the front of the engine, on top, in a water jacket.). Old boxes called it a 'glow plug...
I've been looking at RV 4 and 6 camera systems. They claim to be able to be left on, and I've not see a lot of reports of fogging up. My only issue with them for side cameras they look completely out of place on the HMMWV, and I'm worried if I mount it on the back bumper of damage.
(6 camera...
