Thanks guys! Try to test tomorrow if not snowing too mutch. Click is crisp but yes, it is old switch...
Edit: sure, it is faulty hi/lo switch on steering column. Jumper wire did job, now is time to new switch. When waiting switch arrival, i bought pair of 50W led lights - they are hi beam but...
Today my 1009 started acting weird - sometimes i can switch to LO headlights, sometimes only HI lights are working. (i.e. HIgh on and OK, LOW not)

Too cold outside to do thorough inspection. And i need to drive tomorrow in dark time - is...
Power steering fluid (basically hydraulic oil) is different from ATF. Not same foaming and additives. As far as i know GM always used power steering fluid, not ATF.

heh, on my 1008 i first checked this on glove box. Just after week or two realised that army replaced for some reason glove box door. Real VIN was different, probably options (hehe, options) too...

And again - i am not courage anyone to cheap hack-jobs. I just like to search such things. If it makes someones life easier -...

My 1009 has button, works fine for me, 1008 card is probably fried but i have not touched this part jet.

Seems like small and useful upgrade for manual glow plug button?
