I am not sure when Stretch is coming in but I would like to unload your lights when we get there.. Then we can play with them! [thumbzup] What you bringing to get them home?
I am bringing the stuff to test them MBU's. Me, 319, Maxim, Camp9, And 13Mike should be rolling in about 3:00 Friday.. We have 3 spots between us. I am stoked! You guys keep Murphy busy! :grd:
The 1 ton panel van is a 1956. I am aware of the sheetmetal/body changes. What I am trying to figure out is the frame. Are they the same or will the 56 frame work with the older front body panels. I located a 1940 and a 1942 stake trucks with good cabs and fenders. But they have the 5 lug stake...
I still have a couple complete exhaust kits for the deuce $200.. Everything from the turbo outward. If you want one let me know I will bring it.. If not I won't.. Good price and no shipping. [thumbzup]
I am happy to be the first Steel Soldiers "Trailer Ho"
So if the trailers are a rocking do we come a knocking?
This should be a great show! I can't wait to here some doghead adventure stories. :cookoo:
Thanks for that manual Maxim I saved it to my compooper. On the manual wiring diagram it shows a ground next to each headlight. Mine did not have that. The ground from the left side went back into the harness over to the other side and was grounded next to the right side headlight. It was just...
I know this is most likely a ground issue because we all know the electrical gremlins that plague these trucks.BUT? Here is the deal, I have the passanger side headlight, front marker and side marker nice and bright. The drivers side all three are very dim. Where is the ground for that side of...
I will not be at Aberdeen.. It sounds like your talking about the 1-1/2 lug nuts.. I am looking for the specific nuts used to hold the two pieces of the combat rim together. They are all right hand thread with a built in washer and rounded off edges on the face. 1 1/16 size I think..
Northern Michigan OD Woods Gnome technology at its finest. After some more abuse of the yard whore I might have got it so it will at least hold Spedmons lights in on the way to Ohio. The right side latch is a still screwed up but with some banging and maybe a little tack or two it should work...
Looking for a good M1008/1028 tailgate! Anybody parting out some trucks and coming to the show? I just completely destroyed mine with logs.. Ooops.. Darn straps! Can't trust em!
No gnome sandwiches! But I will be sure and leave a gnome pie on your table for you! Dry it and put it around your neck. They have magical powers..
Let me start by saying I do not know much at all about the old Chevy trucks from the late 30's to late 40's. But here are my thoughts.. I located a 1956 Chevy 4x2 panel van/Suburban truck. It has heavy springs, the longer wheelbase and 8 lug axles. I am considering building a LRDG Chevy look...
I know! If you want it before the show your welcome to come up for a visit and get it?.[thumbzup] Otherwise I suggest a boat tank! LOL...
Take that M105 over to Ted G's and fill it with parts for the show..:grd:
