I was wondering if anyone knows what tool I need to adapt annular cutters from my mag drill to my drill press? Any thoughts?
I am assuming it is available… just don’t know the name.

Yeah, unfortunately I only have funds for one project at a time, so my truck is all I have time to mess with right now. Some day I will get back to shooting. With everything so expensive, and I am so cheap, It may be a while still.

I think it is still there. I have not been in 20 years though. I live out in the country, so I don’t drive into town unless I have to. It rarely is worth the hassle. I put Austin as my location because that is the closest recognizable city (for non-Texans).

I have two battery bank Noco charger in mine. I connected one bank to each set of paralleled batteries. It was a bit freaky to connect the positive of one charger bank to the negative of the other charging bank. It works great! I still need to connect the disconnect.

Loving the build.
Watched a Gulf War documentary last week. Reminded me of your pictures. Now I need to find a Hathcock documentary next.
Do you have a source for good straps? It seams that they are a lot more expensive than I remember.

Here is my sound thread…. Similar strategy, but I will go further once I start wall paneling….. a ways off still.

Well, finally got my hose in.
The hose is extra large. I had to reduce the fittings at the ends to match the truck. This will create some resistance, but the hose being larger should reduce the resistance from the added length of hose.
Either way, it should work.
Ha…. I just had a chuckle about this. I still find mud in my Tacoma from 15 years ago. Mud is fun, but the cleanup is no longer worth it to me.

Be careful, some mechanics (if not most) debug problems by throwing parts at them until things work again. When a mechanic replaces more than one part to solve a problem I start watching very closely….. but then again, I don’t use mechanics anymore.

The F in FMTV is for Family. That is the entire series of trucks.
An LMTV is part of the FMTV “family”.
A 6x6 is really just an MTV where as a 4x4 is an LMTV.
This gets confused a lot.
