I will give that a shot….. if nothing else, the engine may like it.
Did you find you had to add it every tank or just occasionally?

My fuel lines are brand new from fuzzytoaster so I trust them to be good.
The truck has been garage kept, so bugs is not as likely but I will pull the cap off and blow through it to see what happens.
Thanks for the feedback.

Can the Cat reader see fuel pressure?
The closest friend I have with a scanner is 3 hours away. Do you have a suggestion for one of the cheaper scanners? I have seen a bunch of cheap Chinese versions, but I don’t want to buy until I know which one people are having good luck with. Would love...
Thanks for the suggestion. I am not losing prime at all and the trucks starts pretty easily. I will add this to one of my debugging steps.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I will give this a shot.
The truck did run really smooth for about 400+ miles, so this is a new issue. That would make me a little skeptical about lubrication….. but, I don’t think it can hurt. Plus, it may do the truck some good.

Truck:
1999 m1083 A1 3126 serpentine re-certified in 2009
Symptoms:
On start up if left in low idle, the engine surges in a rhythmic way. In high idle I do not notice it. In gear, the truck lunges with each surge.
Once the truck is really warmed up (30 minute drive), no more surges.
What...
That looks like it will be fun to use.
Any chance you made a build video in progress?
How does the air get to the heater? Only outside air mode?

Well, I checked the oil before leaving and it was way high, so a idled it until it dropped a little.
I drove for about 30 minutes, lots of flat roads with a few steep hills. The hoses got nice and warm to the touch, so I know oil was flowing through them.
Only leak was from the oil sample...
I did not drain the transmission. I only drained the rear hoses and the cooler.
My current plan is to check the oil level. Start the truck for about 5 seconds. Check the level…. Add some oil until correct.
Repeat until cold level is stable and correct. Then warm up the transmission, check...
Ok, got my lines routed. Gonna fire up the truck this weekend. I have not added any transmission oil back yet, but I was a bit high right before the lines were drained.
Any guesses on how much to add back? I am thinking of starting it up for a minute to fill the lines and cooler, then checking...
Not trying to hijack, but sense there has not been any traffic in a while, I thought it would be ok…..
What are the two solenoids for? To disconnect the equalizer positive lines so there is no vampire losses?

I made up some silicone foam rubber bushings. Each bolt has three…. One one each end and one between the cooler and the mount. I wish I had some fender washers…. I may get some still, but the cooler can move some but can’t rattle. I used nylock nuts so the assembly is captured.
Perhaps @wheelspinner @Suprman or @fuzzytoaster has one they can ship you.
If you try @Ronmar s conversion but don’t have time for the balancer, you could maybe get small charger to top of each batter at night. You will want the balanced eventually though.
