All,
I started this thread a bit generic because I think it may cover topics over time.
I am interested in putting ceramic film on the inside of the class to help with heat….. but, I am modifying my defroster deflector like Keith Knight
Anyone have any experience dealing with the ceramic...
You have a fun-as-hell looking truck. Sometimes I wish I had room for an extra truck to comply you.
Do you have a write up on what you did to fit the bigger tires?

That has 4 rotors though…. Right? Was that a special stacked engine or what did it come out of?
I think the Mazda stock engines only had two and the racing ones had 3…. Always thought stacking a 4 would be awesome.

That is all I have. This is a European company and those are Styr trucks. I don’t remember the name of the company but Ivghink they had a bull in the symbol.

Gonna try this.
I also bought a brand new primer/filter base. The price was right, so I bought it. We will see if that fixes anything.
I will update with my results.
In the mean time…. While trying to figure out the speed issue….. you can unplug it once you set your pressure.
Good luck.

So that is great for fatigue and dropping screws to find later, but that won’t help with sound at all. They make mats specifically for sound. The stock A1 hump pad is made from acoustic matting. My thread above has a few links to a similar material.

I have a thread somewhere with the floor Matt material I am using. I have a roll and like the product so far. I have not j stalled it yet.
I have KillMat on the floor inside the cab and cut around the drains. I will put the rubber floor mat over top and just lift it up if I am
Hosing it out...
Was looking at it all backwards then. So how close is the front mount to the front of the frame? Or the small cross frame the tire carrier is on?

No, mine is a 1083. If I had the chance for a 1085…. I would have been happy with that as well. But, I would be hesitant to extend any further back than a 1085 already has as the rear angle is already pretty small and the overhang is a lot. That was my only point there. It comes down to personal...
Ronmar,
On quick question. It looks like the front mount is 15” from something. What are you measuring from?
How close is the front mount to the front of the subframe and how far is the rear from the back of the subframe?
Thanks a bunch!

That front mount picture is super useful!
Do you have any pictures of the rear mount? I really need to see that one.
Is the box resting on the truck frame? Or wood strip? Or rubber? Or air gapped?
Thanks!!!!!!!

My only pictures I could find of an m1087 don’t show the mounts well, but there is a clear difference.
here is the front mount:
here you can see the rails seam to be on top of each other.
Anyone have a better picture of the mounts?
