IMHO best choice (which was not available when the above folks were doing their handle fixes)..... is our member here that makes Eco Hubs. He now make/sells machined replacement parts for the two parts that make up 99% of the handle failures. Least costly when you come down to it as well.
Adept Ape (a CAT mechanic Youtuber) just had similar.... on a rebuilt engine. Long story short he dropped oil pan and low and behold the oil pick up tube was not tight to the base of where it attaches (to pump I assume)... allowed air in, would aerate oil etc. . Buttoned it up and all good.
@Ronmar just posted a picture from birds eye that might help conceptually. Its I think a 1079 though. Granted I think you got this figuredd out now and moved on.
Not sure from any of these pics where the cable from the arm attaches above to the bottom of x (x=bed, box, etc) though not sure...
looking closer... apparently there is more to this that just buzzword. It has a place on it to plug Lithium battery BMS up to it. My guess is when Lithium bank is full the BMS triggers the relay to NOT have the relay click over to send any voltage down that lithium charge terminal.
spot was cleaned/sanded to bare metal... ground attached shows good contact when tested.
Will drill when can get back to it.
Cleaned all connections again other day while waiting on parts. Few more days on Jeep parts to wait. Think Ill mess with resurrecting motorcycle since nothing more...
for future reference.. why image sideways?? Devices take pics only in one orientation.... device (phone, tablet etc.) saves image via whatever standard / type your settings are. (jpeg, png, what quality etc.. etc. ) - BUTT!! it tags a small code file to it . That code tells "devices"...
thank @Ronmar & @GeneralDisorder . Glad got that clarified... thought had read it in here somewhere you could .... hadn't done it,.... nor planned too... but had it stuffed in my head as a possible work around if ever needed. Will now erase that file out of my grey matter hard drive.
Facebook marketplace and craigslist. As well as Facebook groups, Ambulance discussion boards etc.... looked for a year though.
Agree it is a lot of work if you go into it with plans of gutting it down to bare walls and starting over... No way would do that. Why remove shelves and storage...
yep that is pretty much what we did beyond all new wires (which was to be next)... nothing changed so far. Cleaned every place cleanable yet drop is still observed from batts to PDP. Cleaned and wiggled everything ..... no changes. added ground... no changes
I canceled my last ever...
lack of height issues is a fallacy many fall for. Loww height is only in first one or two of the three Classes of Ambo's if I recall right. Not that hard to work around if one wanted too though.. (rolling stools/chair) . Have a nice awning room and outdoor cook setup to go under it...
