I have black spray paint over the original truck numbers. Do you guys recommend using acetone to pull off the paint? Truck is tan and staying tan. I would be concerned that I would just get a smear.

Look for “rfid relay” on a favorite auction site then look for the same picture. They have a better one that has selectable delays.

I am starting desert tan and 95% of the paint is good. M1083 for scale. So, I will stick to that color.
There is the standard spray paint when it went to auction. I plan to try to remove that. Not sure if that will accomplish anything but smear it.

Also, most trucks I see have the paint pealing off of the plastic and rubber parts. How do you prevent this? Is that a CARC issue and the house paint won’t...
It would be nice if someone really knowledgeable (not me) put a list of all of the actual sizes and types needed. Say if you only wanted to carry the sizes on the truck.

You guys convinced me..... just ordered a 3/4 High torque 2864-20 For my Christmas gift to myself. It had the most bang for the buck. my birthday is coming up, so I plan on getting the batteries and charger then.

So, you are the only one to list sizes of sockets....not to question your list, but what sizes does everyone actually think we should carry?
I personally would not overlap so fully on the impact sizes. An 8mm 1” drive sounds crazy to me.

I actually intend to spend quite a bit of time in the Rockies with an m1083, so this is something I plan on having with chains.
