Do the Pewag 395/85-r20 chains with the MRAP stamp on the cams fit each tire option that came on the FMTV’s the same?
The reason I ask, Pewag’s web says that the dash number chains are for 14.00R20’s but I confirmed with other forum members that the ones marked MRAP are the right ones for...
I was trying to differentiate between the hand throttle and the pedal. Maybe my post sounded off on wording. My understanding is the issue has to do with the pedal.

One thing I have seen several people mention.
Some throttle pedals need adjustment causing the pedal to not allow full throttle on some trucks. That would also be something to look at.

I am not sure what kind of desiccant beads are used, but you may need to bake out the moisture or replace them. The color change may be from them hydrating.

You could also leave the temperature set high and then plumb in a tempering valve. That way you have an anti scald protection and increased overall capacity.

Anyone find a brand and series of gauges that match somewhat the stock gauges?
For example, say I want a boost gauge or EGT or anything else...... is there a known source for gauges with a similar appearance?
Thanks

Would you consider doing a write up? It sounds very easy, but more pictures and such would help me feel better. I don’t think anyone has done one for this method. This is my plan for my truck right now. I don’t have a forklift, but planned on using two engine hoists.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you have a write up on how you did it exactly or could you write up what you did?
What special tools besides a forklift do you need?

Spacers?
I read through a few times, but missed some info.
There needs to be washers used on the 3116 engines between the front cover and the bracket.
How thick are they?
On the main pulley, there was mention of needing a spacer so the fan bolts don’t rub. Where do the spacers go...
Do you know someone with a known working controller you can try?
Maybe the controller is dead.
I am no expert..... but I would try that if I could.
