The default for the clutch fan is on and hydraulic pressure from the power steering pump keeps it disengaged. If any part of the system fails the fan will stay on and cool the engine.

Surprised nobody mentioned the Aircraft Dynamics gear. I have the 24v Bradley impact kit and with the torque multiplier it's a beast. Great thing is it's all powered by the trucks batteries. I also have an Aircraft Dynamics 24v very heavy duty drill. Just had to install the slave plug.

You can easily pull the engine over by hand with a wrench on the alternator. Go go slow and keep turning for a couple of minutes to make sure you've completed the cycles. If it clears the above test you may be ok.

Changed out my yellow label start box. Barrel relay was jammed on so it was constantly sending 24v to the plugs. I have another known good box same yellow label Natrona but could someone please explain this afterglow function please? Mine comes on at 20v then the dash light goes out...

Dot 5.1 is pricey and made for high performance brake applications. I use it in a car of mine with AP-Racing 4pot calipers. I would recommend DOT 4 for most uses and as already stated DOT 5 is great stuff but can settle water to the lowest point and rust out lines and is $$$. If you do change...
If you use never seize (I always do on my HMMWV) and if you are not in a marine salt environment it can be acceptable. I just hate rusted fasteners. Steel screws have problems also. A poly or rubber washer to insulate will help.. You do what you can.

If someone walks up to the truck at night the camera sensors it and alerts my phone and when that happens a 200w 20K lumens flood light comes on. I wake up to any alerts like that and look at the phone and if need be I can shoot down the stairs to welcome my uninvited guest and welcome him. As...
