I am the latest victim of this but luckily I found the issue before tranny damage was done. Felt a slight slip when cold and I checked the fluid and found she was down three quarts. I bypassed the cooler in the transfer case using a bent up "U" shaped section of 3/8" brake line. Had to replace...
I have been very pleased with the performance so far. It is not as hard but easily repaired and my HMMWV and M101A2 are parked outside in the weather. I went with a tad different color as it is a Austrian Pinzgauer green/gray.

I Have a 93 M998 with a 6.5L and am having the same cold start problems. Could someone tell me just where this cold start relay is located from the doghouse side? It takes about 8 tries to get this motor going and it's getting colder. and glow light is working. Lots of white smoke then after...
The unit with the overdrive is a 6.5L Turbo Diesel and the reg 6.5 and 6.2 with the 3 speed transmissions are normally aspirated. The Turbo diesel has more horse power and torque and along with the OD transmission can better handle the armored HMMWV and has a higher MPH on the highway. My reg...

3" Lunette ring is the standard NATO military size. The Europeans have a slightly smaller 2.5" ring. You can pull a US trailer with a European Pintle but it will bang around a bit more and could bind backing up.

I went with the Flightcom setup and the expansion unit so I have a four man setup. Very simple and works great. I think this being an aviation setup adds to the cool factor.

Your M37 is listed as a 1953 model so would not the M1 Garand be the correct rifle? I'm sure the M14 looks great I am just a big fan of the Garand. I own two :)
