I sent a core in after the new unit was installed. They issued a credit for the returned core without any issues.
Move your push button to the other Blue wire on the GP control card.
Or wire it directly to the Light Blue wire on the GP relay.
Sounds like you are grounding the Dark Blue wire that goes to the Wait light.
Been there many times and have never been disappointed.

Do you have 12 volts on the top terminal of the GP relay?
With the relay closed, do you have 12 volts on the bottom terminal of the GP relay with the Orange wires?

They are telescoping. One setting will get them 13 ft above ground the other setting will get the tip to 20 ft above ground.
