    LMTV Air Conditioner

I talked to vintage air today about the same topic, and they said volume not BTU is the unit of measure to look for. He also said that the compressor used on all these builds is huge and often is used in large vans with multiple evaporators. I am curious about the actual volumes of the gen1...

LMTV Air Conditioner AC Main Unit Gen1 and Gen2 Details

    LMTV Air Conditioner

I read on a vintage air tutorial that the condenser should be 1.25x larger than the evaporator. That would imply that the condenser should be 35,000 BTU/hr if the gen2 evaporator is 26,000 BTU/hr. Is that what everyone else is concluding? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Frequent Towing: pull axle shafts, drop u-joints, or install 2nd trans oil cooler

I think you are asking for trouble you don't want. If you are towing such a huge vehicle like that off-road, I think you will get stuck a lot. Your combined weight would be huge, you will be very limited on maneuverability, your mpg will drop a lot, you will wear your towing vehicle a lot...
