No, they really are tiny, I have decided to put 9x20 NDCC singles on there. Eventually I'll pull some leaves out of the spring pack to lower the truck a few inches too. I think it will look sweet.
 Naw, just funnin. I really do need a k-boom to lift the tires in and out of the carrier...
RE: Re: Toe-in with singles and radials - thoughts?
Man, you've always got some cool one-off projects going, Bob. Keep us posted on the tranny swap and the brake upgrades. Better brakes will make you feel better with all that extra top speed ;)

Hey Trango, nice to see you again. It seems like it has been quite a while since I have seen you here. What's new besides your wandering singles?
Update:
I had a very productive afternoon! I set out to finish the power steering system. First, I had to get the partially removed ball-stud knocked all the way back into the spring mount. Problem with that was with weight on the front end, the stud wasn't lined up with the hole in the...
When I worked as a roustabout we would have trouble with the diesels in our trucks and rigs running away on natural gas blowing from a well. When that happened, someone would scramble to yank the mushroom off and cover the intake with a board or stuff a jacket in the intake. You could do that...
Bump! New donors added. Thanks gang!! :)
Things are getting a little tight with Aberdeen coming up and some recent legal fees to better protect ourselves so if you have any spare change laying around, we would appreciate your help [thumbzup]
Sounds good Adam. I usually take 35 from Franklin to 95 just south of Petersburg. It's a nice 2 lane farm country road that parallels 460. It's 55mph like 460, but no traffic lights! Then, we can hit 95 the rest of the way. We should prolly allow about 2.5 +/- hours to get to Doswell...
What time are you guys planning on for breakfast at Denny's and what time will we be pulling out of Doswell? I will be making the trip up from Franklin that morning. It's about a 2 hour shot from here. It should be interesting to see how many commuters I can scare on I-95 with the 923A2 ;)
RE: Thanks for the nice comments
Great story! I'm glad it worked out for both of you. Just goes to show that our SS members are some of the best guys and gals out there.
My question wasn't really "What did they come with?" it was more "Will GL1 90W work safely as an alternative?" I'm sure I could prolly order pails of 80W90 GL4, but if GL1 will work and it's on the shelf, then I'll use it. I appreciate the technical data Jed.
