Kenny, that order may get over ridden next year. John, the vendor that rode with me on the trails this year was so excited he thought the group he belongs to will be there in force next year. Most of them are from Fl I believe. His comment was my friends think they have been trail riding...
I`ll throw in my 2 cents worth. Most of the things I buy I don't know I need. I don't check the classifieds looking for stuff I don't know i need, but when it shows up on the forum I say, hey, I need that. Not to say I am not happy with the way it is, it saves me lots of money by not buying...
There was a thread a couple weeks ago about TM's for the lube trailers. i have searched and looked back at posts for a couple hours and can not find it. Can anyone help me find them??
thanks
Kenny, are you talking swapping axles or just The actuating systems?? You could hook the air diaphram to the existing Duece master cylinder and then plumb the emergency line to the tanks on the 109. Then it would be just like pushing the petal with your foot, but you still would not have split...
I am sure it will turn out great guys. Have you thought any more about the Brakes?? I showed you how to hook the air from the towing truck to the towed truck to have brakes at the Rally. Sitting here thinking about it now I realize you are going to have to leave the Master cylinder on the...

This is one of the horrow stories of what can go wrong. Even so the recovery bill seems high to me. This is what I always fear the most, away from home, nobody I know or knows me, open season on unreasonable charges.
Those pivot bearings are solid steel cone shaped bushings and are held in with a nut like axle bearings. That nut could have loosend up and let the springs shift. It might just need tightening
up. I had a Duece that the nut had backed all the way off and that axle pack floped around. The threads...
There are two types of transfercases. If this truck was nor updated then it has the old sprag transfer case. Enguagement of the front axle was automatic when the rear wheels slipped. There was a forward and a reverse sprag so the axle could pull in one direction and not the other if one sprag...
Stumps, I am not sure what is going on here, But I enjoyed the information in your post. I am fairly knowledgeable in diesel engines and MV's but I learned a couple things from you tonight. For one thing I have owned MV's for at least eight years and did not know until a couple months ago the...
