It is very hit or miss with trucks getting tags showing they were rebuilt or reset. There is so much misinformation out there about this, I am not sure what is reality and what is BS. I see so many people advertising trucks saying the vehicle had a "full depot overhaul" and they don't have one...
We've had about 40 deuces and absolutely not a single one had a 1960s engine. Every single one had an engine made between about 1985 and 1988.
So the story goes.........................................................
The EPA kept giving the military grief about the multifuel. It is a dirty...
Does it have the cargo tie downs? If so, one chain running from the front side hook to the rear side hook and vice versa. If not, you can put the hook in the stake pocket, but in doing this, it will occasionally rip the sheetmetal. Just isn't designed for that.
here's another way of doing...
This is Steel Soldiers. Aren't you making your own witches brew of homegrown fuel, consisting of but not limited to used motor oil, used transmission fluid, diesel (taxed and untaxed), gasoline, 2 stroke engine oil/gas, surplus toilet bowl cleaner, obsolete transformer oil, kerosene, Jet A...
You're in Marietta, man! There are people coming from Uraguay! If they can make it, you and your M37 can. This is going to be the year of M37s.
I'll add that to the list.
Honestly, we need more volunteers for the MKT than anything. SCSG has his hands full trying to keep that operation...
I had not. I just uninstalled and rebooted and installed a fresh copy and I guess I was running on an obsolete version. I seem to not be having the same problem, but the new version appears not to have the "front page" like the old one................. does the current version require you to...
I know that Patracy has very little control over TT, so I know this isn't probably isn't an issue on our end.................... but I am having an issue where when I look at threads on TT, I see the posts, but they're blank. No words or images. If I swipe down, the text "flashes" and then...
Only fuse is on top of the fuel pump.
You can test the flasher unit, they frequently fail. They have 3 circuits, solid power in, flashing power out and ground. Ground it and put 24V to the input and see what happens. Occasionally turn signal switches fail but in my experience, 8 out of 10...
You're right down the road from us.
The TM's have a lot of the abbreviations. It's a good start. The basic operators manual is probably where I'd start.
Make sure to plan to make it to the Ga. Rally in October. Right down the road from you. There is a link below to the info thread...
The real issue is how much prep do you want done?
Obviously this isn't a glossy car show paint job, but the level of prep will fall somewhere between "pressure washing" and "sandblast to bare metal"....... and whatever level of prep you want will affect the price more than anything else.
So there are plenty of civvy vehicles the military buys-they don't just own tanks and jeeps. Think of your local recruiter and all their Dodge Caravan minivans.
This is obviously a vehicle that was purchased to do some kind of work on a base or installation, it just isn't a true tactical...
I only have one and kfrosty has first dibs on it, he pm'd me before you responded. He's gonna' see if he can get someone to pick it up from me and bring it to him or closer to him. If it falls through with him, you're #2.
Here it is. Simple cage, built at Warner Robins AFB. I've done a...
