    Does a 12V M-series voltmeter exist?

I want to buy a voltmeter that looks identical to the standard M-series 24V unit, but that is for 12V applications. Does such a thing exist?

I had to google "Sandwich, MA" to see if such a place actually existed. Holy moly, what a beautiful place.

My New Project - 1942 Ford GPW

I have read that the "F" marks were a warranty thing-that Ford didn't want to warranty a single Willys item- and that would make sense since so many of the items (like ring gears and such) are marked, even though they can not be seen. I certainly wouldn't put it past him (the recognition thing).

Preparing to get an LDS ready for the swap - questions

I'd absolutely do the head gaskets. What's the joke about there being two kinds of multifuel owners: Those who have done head gaskets and those who are going to do head gaskets. As long as it torn down that far and it's now smaller and easier to maneuver, I'd consider checking the bearings in...

    My M1009, what to do...

So in reality, there are 3 kinds of shops that will touch this: A. The redneck losers NDT mentioned. They'll (maybe) grind the rust away and fill the holes with bondo or all metal. Your paint job will self destruct within 6-12 months as all the rust they didn't fix will resurface. B. The...

    Air shift install

The factory tubing is copper. The DOT airbrake tube is a flexible plastic/vinyl/something line that won't require a bender. You can see it here, it's the tube closest to the camera and has the new brass fitting holding it to the side of the switch: If you do copper, this is the bender I use:

    Air shift install

So you can get the air shift upgrade kit. I looked on eBay and didn't see any currently or even recently up. The NSN for the kit is 2520-00-113-8049 and the part number is 5704132. Looks like: Eastern has them for $195. I don't see them any cheaper anywhere else. I have done several of...

    Deuce Turn signal issue

Yes. One pin is ground, another is power in (solid) and the last is power out (flashing). You can simply use test wires (alligator clips) to connect the pins to the battery and then put a test light on the output pin. Obviously with the unit grounded and a solid 24V feed, the output should...

My New Project - 1942 Ford GPW

I have the typical 503 crack in my GPW block. By the distributor. Didn't even know it was there until I was working on the starter. It's been repaired previously and is not currently leaking but I know it's only a matter of time. It's a GPW block but not the original so I am just going to...

Best route heading North from Robins AFB in a newly won A2?

https://goo.gl/maps/dUMo6 That's what I'd do. 129 is small enough that you won't be pushed by 80mph traffic but large enough that there will be lots of restaurants, businesses and such that you can find a safe place to pull over if a problem arises. If you have a towbar, take it with you. In...
