seems hight to me.. 3512 miles round trip for me.. At 10 MPG 351.2 gallons x 3.50 a gallon = $1229 bucks. This is going both ways myself.. Seems like I could get them hauled one way for less than $1800 bucks. I think I will keep looking.
They all have gensets on them and the deck of the trailer...
Re: RE: Utah to Michigan
The can be loaded onto 30' or maybe less. They have both fork truck and loading dock available and are willing to do either. Total weight should be around 6K
I have a bid for $1850 to mover 3 M 116 genset trailers from Hill AFB Utah to Boyne City, Michigan.. What do you guys think? Is this the best I am going to do? This is through Uship.com..
I dont think so
Manual???? That went out the window on the way home from the dealership! It took up to much room in the glove box and I was pissed they didnt give me a thermal coffee cup after spending 30k..
I will try what you mentioned above mangus.. I plan on rigging up some CUCV shackles...
What does the side say? Caution something risk Do not exceed something MPH ? I sure would like to here the story on these.. They had 3 or 4 in the convoy and many HUMMV's with 50 cals and turrets.. Alos think they had a FMTV.. Trying to remember..
I use a straight weight non ditergant 10 weight in all my compressor heads for winter up here. I used to buy it in the gallon or 5 gallon bucket at the farm store. In the summer I use 30 weight. Would this be what you use in the crane and power steering pump? In the compressors its a non filter...
Re: RE: Re: M62
To cold to take the box off right now.. It will have to wait until warmer days. What lube??? Or are you just making a funny? Yes I want to see those ground spade mounts.. The way yours are done will be better for pulling in my garage.
I just wanted to post this so some of you can see the schedule of the traveling Vietnam Wall. It will be coming to my area here in Michigan on May 28th to June 1st. Our city would like this to be a good show of respect coupled with military iron, museum displays, and any other military type set...
OpieNoTool
OpieNoTool has a M543A2 also.. He has done allot of work to it but I dont have any new pictures.. Her name is Sally and she was my first yard whore on loan kinda sorta.. She was a little butt ugly so my Township gave me grief over it so he had to take the hooker away. Not USDA...
If I was to tow bar a 98 GMC how would you put the t case in neutral it has the push button crap? Or I guess I would have to pull the rear shaft? Should not hurt the front right?
I know you do I hauled a bunch across the country for you! "Leg secured!!" :D :D :D
I was thinking.. If I am the garden nome.. does that make you Shreks long lost brother? Or maybe the head Goomba?
RE: Re: RE: towing a m1o1a1 3/4 ton trailer
Should not be a problem.. They are about 1200lb's empty. Only problem would be stopping and even then I think it can handle it.. I see people hauling 5K with the toy trucks you mentioned and they stop just fine..
Should do fine behind a 5 ton cargo.. You are refering to a "convertor Dolly".. You will need 1100/20 tires on it if this trailer is a M127.. Just make sure the brakes are working on both the dolly and the trailer. You will not be able to go very fast though.. Oh and this is a forward only...
