    M35a2 and M109

Does it need the generator? If it does, it would probably better to use a modern generator, they are quieter, easier to get parts for and make better power for electronics.

    Fuel Issues....

Your post seemed as though you bypassed the pump, no biggie. The only way to measure the cranking flow is on a pump stand. A trick to try and force feed rail pressure is to pinch/plug off the return line going back to the tank, do this as close to the engine as possible. It should make some...

    Fuel Issues....

^^ That is incorrect. A PT system has no pressure at idle, only a spike on acceleration. There will only be flow, measurable with a flow meter in lbs per hour. Rail pressure only happens when loaded. No cracking lines needed, it is self priming. PT screen filter is only there IF a pump failure...

    M939A1 fuel in oil saga

OBC method is quicker. They need to make sure they have the correct injectors for the CPL, remember different lobe lifts. Non TS injectors and OBC don't care what the lift is, but a short top stop and a cam profile greater than the top stop will cause damage IBC or OBC. They NEED to make certain...

    M939A1 fuel in oil saga

See post 8. You can also adjust by OBC method. The procedure for checking the Acc. dr. timing it there too. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?73256-Nhc250-valve-injector-overhead-adjusting

    M939A1 fuel in oil saga

Didn't answer your Q's, sorry. Cracked cups can fracture into small pie piece shaped parts that can come out of the retainer, only seen that a couple of times, so that's why I mentioned it. Yes it causes cylinder and head damage. The most common thing that happens is the bending of push tubes...

    M939A1 fuel in oil saga

Another "thing" small cam, non top stop engines were known for for dillution was a failed cam lobe. A little history..... The reason TS injectors came about was to relieve the pressure on the cam lobe from the non top stop injector spring pressure always riding on the lobe with force. The top...

    M939A1 fuel in oil saga

6 in lb is the "normal" top stop injector setting for IBC setting. IF it was set at 16 in lb using the inner base method, injector 3, valve 5, inj 6, v, 3, etc, the stroke of the injector was shortened by the amount the 16 inch lb torque took up, the top stop was not in play, injector spring...

Deuce retro single WWII G7107 mod project start

Can't wait to see the finished product. On a side note, frame flanges shouldn't be drilled. The flange is the strong point. You should glove the frame if you intend to put weight in it.

Have you been just starting and letting it idle/short hop to the beer store? Take it out and run it on the highway.
