holy crap man, that thing is about the most badass MV i have ever seen. I just wish you were closer because i would like to see it in person once its done and shake your hand. Keep up the stellar work [thumbzup]
WOW man, i don't even want to think how many TONS of impact force is has to take to make an almost perfect impression like that. Consider yourself REALLY lucky.
Hmmm, must have missed that post then. Well if anybody happens across it drop a link. As for the in tank pump guy posting, that has got to be about the most helpful part supplier that i think could have found the site. New star???
I remember reading a while back, as in months. That M35 tom was looking into a chinese supplier for new IP hydraulic heads as they are making new deuces over there. Anyone heard any updates or done any searching yourself??? Just seems like one of those parts that would be nice to know where to...
Traffic in a deuce isn't so bad....people seem to like to give you a bit of clearance just based on looks. Besides, the horn really seems to get them out of your way if needed. Somehow i think a convoy of them ought have no issues navigating even the worst traffic :D
It won't if the intake seal on the turbo has gone, then you are using the engines own oil as fuel, till you either run out of oil ( not so likely) or over rev the engine and cause it to self destruct ( more likely). Unless you stop the flow of air into the engine its pretty much a gonner...

I'm sorry to say that i never had the pleasure of meeting bruce. Although that deuce in the other thread looks awfully familiar so i am almost positive i was in close proximity at last years festivities. Sounds like one heck of a guy and a valuable asset to the MV community as a whole, he will...
Listen really closely at about the 42 second mark in the second vid, you can just barely make out that telltale C whistle in all the background noise. That and i kinda suspected a multi with the way it was smoking in that vid as well.
RE: Pilot stop works for me . . .
Armyman, i can only imagine the traffic around that city in the daylight, last time i was headed through there it had to be about midnight and it was still kinda congested. Thankfully i won't need to get any closer than the rest stop in jersey for the first leg...
RE: Pilot stop works for me . . .
well i just mapquested it again....looks like it will only be 50 or so miles from planned route to meet up with you guys at the first stop. Total Estimated Time: 6 hours 55 minutes
Total Estimated Distance: 402.30 miles That is without the detour to meet up...
RE: Pilot stop works for me . . .
Believe me i don't want to travel all the way myself either, while the run through the night to get home from aberdeen was interesting i just don't know if an all nighter in the deuce would be so much fun the second time around :driver: I have to start...
